I’ve been attending the Annual Michigan Camp since the late 1990s, and every one has been a blast.

This year should be no different. Professor Chuck Gauss and Professor Ken Smith are the featured instructors. Both learned directly from the late Professor Remy Presas and have been on a mission to share the Professor’s beloved art of Modern Arnis.

The host of the Camp, Professor Chuck Gauss, is below:

Professor Ken Smith is Professor Chuck’s long-time Modern Arnis brother and friend. Their teaching styles complement each other very well! They are both incredible teachers!

Expect to learn a variety of Modern Arnis techniques and concepts, ranging from disarms, tapi tapi, joint locks, traditional striking styles, sinawali boxing, ground control and much more!

Camp Information

Camp Structure:
In addition to the normal seminar format, there will be breakout sessions on Friday afternoon and Saturday, divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

COST & Deadlines:
Full Camp: $300 if pre-registered by July 3, 2025.
Full Camp: $375 if you register on or after July 4, 2025.
All Sessions Friday, July 18th: $120.
All Sessions Saturday, July 19th: $180.
All Sessions Sunday, July 20th: $60.
