In this fight, Ali showcased his unbelievable skill, strategy, and determination in the face of a scary opponent, George Foreman. Ali’s ability to outmaneuver Foreman’s aggressive style demonstrated his exceptional boxing intelligence. By employing the now-famous rope-a-dope technique, Ali absorbed Foreman’s powerful blows and strategically counterattacked. In addition, Ali baited Foreman into throwing thunderous haymakers during the fight. The result was that Foreman wore himself out, leading to being knocked out by Ali in the 8th round.
