Given the overwhelming gravity of [yesterday’s post](https://brianejohns.com/2023/07/13/is-there-a-connection-between-el-nino-and-increased-crime/),
I’ve concluded that today’s post requires a touch of humour. So, brace yourselves
for a hilarious ride! Check out the video below!

If you are not able to view this video, go to [here](https://youtu.be/8WcX9QZHOIs).

Captain James T. Kirk, the grand poobah of the starship Enterprise in the mind-bending
science fiction extravaganza Star Trek, was quite the badass when it came to fighting.
Kirk had a whole arsenal of fighting skills and could kick some serious intergalactic
asses. Whether delivering his signature double-fist punch or pulling off his jaw-
dropping judo chop, Captain Kirk had flair, finesse, and a mean right hook. His
nimbleness, brawn, and never-give-up attitude made him a force to be reckoned with
in every brawl, ensuring the safety of his loyal crew and the accomplishment of
his daring missions.

How many of you have laughed at Kirk’s fight scenes? I have! So the above video
is a hilarious tribute to James Tiberius Kirk.

## Enjoy!
